Basel Jazz Orchestra

Gianni plays Double Bass and electric Bass for the Basel Jazz Orchestra, active since 2022.
He is also member of the composer's collective, composes and arranges regularly for the big band. He's written original music and arranged for artists such as Yumi Ito and Dominic Landolf.
Ramiro Zaya's "Collector"
This project, led by pianist Ramiro Zayas, explores the possibilities of a jazz chamber ensemble. Drawing on years of collecting musical influences, Ramiro combines rhythmic pulse with collective energy, moving beyond traditional approaches. It blends composed works with improvisation, highlighting the unique talents of each musician.
Harsh Shandiliya "Every Which Way"
The project has been active since 2023 and has it's roots based in jazz and improvisation.
The band is actively preparing for recording the music in the coming few months.
